In our business, we work diligently to ensure our equipment is running at an optimal level to create efficiency, produce material at a high volume and meet our customers’ needs. We see this as part of the job and we build processes and practices into our day so that it gets done. How often, however, do we think about ourselves and whether we are running at an optimal level? How often do we look at our most important asset, ourselves, and ensure each aspect of of our lives functions in a way that “Sharpens the Saw”?

  • Pursue a certification aligned with your career
  • Teach a new skill to someone else

“Sharpen the Saw” is the habit of daily self-renewal that encompasses the four dimensions of wellness – physical, spiritual, social/emotional and mental. Daily focus on each of the four dimensions of wellness enhances our overall well-being and provides not only health benefits, but better quality of life, relationships and our ability to adapt and enjoy life.
