Stewardship of our surroundings:  trash clean-up days at DSSC and White Eagle

Community improvement and stewardship include keeping the areas around our properties clean and litter-free. During April, traditionally known as “Earth Month,” we committed to two large trash clean-up projects.

Dolese Support Services Center

Our Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) team participated in OKC Beautiful’s LitterBlitz campaign. The team picked up trash around our building and along the Broadway Extension service road, our adopted street.

White Eagle

White Eagle Sand Plant employees, along with the HSE and executive teams, picked up trash along Cowboy Hill Road. This road leads to White Eagle and has several Marland residents who live along the road.

“We want to be good neighbors within the communities where we live and work,” said David Finley, director of HSE. “I appreciate all the employees who picked up a trash bag and a trash picker and braved the elements to help.”
